Curries? No Worries!

Recently released 'Curry Kitchen' by Jacki Passmore is a superb book with dozens of curry recipes guaranteed to set your taste buds on fire. All photographs, and there are many, were taken over a two week period by me here at Omega. The staff at Omega enjoyed all the leftovers at the end of each day and it is rumored that Gerard didn't buy food for the entire two weeks!. This book is a great addition to your collection of cookbooks and will enable you to impress all your family and friends with your culinary skills, courtesy of Jacki of course.

Giant Bicycles

Omega Advertising's relationship with Giant Bicycles began way back in 1989 with the creation of marketing material for their range of bicycles. Recently Giant commissioned Omega Advertising to develop a set of websites for their leading dealers which would showcase Giant Bicycles and the dealerships in a modern web 2.0 format.

The sites were developed from the ground up and are database driven with content management facilities to enable the website owners to add and update information and material.

In the last quarter of 2009 we developed and published 3 websites for Giant dealers:

myDJspace is a community driven website dedicated to DJ's, electronic producers and music lovers across the globe for the purpose of networking and sharing of information.

We have been instrumental in the development of myDJspace from logo design and web development to management, marketing and search engine optimisation. The site currently has over 6,000 members and generates over 2,000 unique visitors a day.

On the site you will find DJ mixes, photo galleries, blogs and a thriving community sharing information and ideas. myDJspace is not specifically for DJ's and is a great way for music lovers to find new music and event information.

Our latest client project which has got us all at Omega excited about networking sites all over again is www.blabberpod.com a social networking website based around language and travel.

Blabberpod is being developed as a social networking website based around learning foreign languages and connecting with people across the globe. Some of the features will enable users to search for language teachers or to create and connect with friends in countries they may be visiting.

The project requirements for Blabberpod has engaged Omega Advertising in Naming, Logo development, Web Design and Development and the preliminary steps towards developing a Blabberpod iPhone app.

Scheduled to be launched in December 2009 Blabberpod will offer IELTS training for international visitors seeking residency in Australia via online tutorials and teacher video conferencing.
